NO BAD NEWS
“And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.” (Exodus 1: 22)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Pharaoh passed a decree that every male child born to the children of Israel should be thrown into the river. This was going to be a case of couples who just put to bed, and should be rejoicing; these people who ought to be rejoicing were to have their male children taken from them and killed. Good news was going to arrive, only to be swallowed by bad news. Good news was to be mixed with bad news.
Friend, I pray for you: in 2023, your good news will not be swallowed by bad news. Your good news will not be killed by any evil hand. You will not come to your season of rejoicing and be in tears because of pain and shame. You will not arrive at your season of congratulations and people will gather to tell you sorry. You will not be in that place where your celebrations will be overtaken by bad news. You will not cry bitter tears.
Families were already getting ready to celebrate the birth of male children, when suddenly it turned to the killing of the same male children. The same thing that was meant to bring shouts of joy turned around and birthed tears of pain and shame. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the same things that should bring you joy will not bring you tears. The same children that should make you laugh will not make you shed bitter tears.
Today, I pray for you: every good news that is coming your way in 2023 is surrounded by a wall of fire. The fire of God surrounds your elevation; fire surrounds your rising; fire surrounds your congratulations; fire surrounds your open doors; fire surrounds your spouse and children; fire surrounds your new season and next level; fire surrounds your entire family; and any evil man plotting bad news for you will be swallowed by fire.
In 2023, God Himself will swallow whatever that wants to swallow your destiny and good news. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your good news will not be mixed with bad news.
Isaiah 60: 6 says: “The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.”
Declare With Me: My good news will not be swallowed by bad news, in Jesus’ name!
